Privacy Policy

  1. Privacy and Data Protection

CPPR Academy ("we", "our", "us") is dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the protection of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you access or use our online learning platform and related services. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. By continuing to use our platform, you confirm that you understand and agree to the terms described here.

Information We Collect

We collect two primary types of information from users of our platform: Personal Information and Technical and Usage Information.

You may share details such as your full name, email address, contact information, educational background, payment information, and registration details. Sharing this information allows you to create an account, enroll in courses, and receive important updates.

As you interact with the platform, your device automatically shares data such as your IP address, browser type, usage patterns, cookies, and geographic location. This data helps enhance your experience, optimize the platform's performance, and ensure seamless functionality.

 How We Collect Information

You provide information to us in various ways, such as registering for an account, enrolling in courses, participating in forums, or contacting customer support. Additionally, when you navigate the platform, your activity is automatically tracked to help us improve the services offered to you.

Purposes of Data Collection

The information we collect is used for several important purposes. First, we use it to facilitate course registration and management, ensuring that your account is properly authenticated. We also use your data to provide a personalized learning experience, communicate course updates and notifications, offer technical support, and conduct platform performance analytics. Additionally, we use your information to comply with legal obligations, such as maintaining records and processing payments.

  1.  Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on several legal grounds, including contractual necessity, explicit user consent, legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal requirements. For instance, we may process your data to fulfill the contract between you and CPPR Academy, to provide the requested services, and to comply with legal obligations such as financial reporting.

  1. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your personal data with trusted third parties who assist us in delivering our services, such as educational service providers, payment processing partners, and cloud service providers. We also may disclose your data to regulatory authorities when legally required. However, we do not sell personal information, nor do we share sensitive personal data without your explicit consent.

  1. User Rights

As a user, you have several important rights regarding your personal data. You have the right to access your personal information, correct any inaccuracies, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent for processing, object to certain types of processing, request data portability, and lodge complaints with relevant authorities. These rights allow you to control your personal information and how it is used.

  1. Data Security Measures

We implement strong security measures to protect your personal data. This includes encrypting sensitive data, using secure server infrastructure, enforcing access control mechanisms, and requiring multi-factor authentication. We also conduct regular security audits and continuously monitor our systems to identify and address any security vulnerabilities.

  1. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze trends, and improve the performance of our platform. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit our platform. They help us remember your preferences, track your usage patterns, and provide you with personalized services.

In addition to our own cookies, we may use third-party cookies. These are set by external services like analytics providers, advertising networks, and other partners who help us improve our services or display personalized content. These third-party cookies allow us to gather insights into your preferences, interests, and usage of our platform, helping us refine our offerings.

You have the option to disable cookies through your browser settings. However, please note that if you choose to disable cookies, some features or services on the platform may not function as intended. This could affect your ability to access personalized content or course-related updates.

By using our platform, you consent to the use of cookies as described here. You can also modify your cookie preferences at any time by adjusting your browser settings to control which cookies you accept. For more detailed information on managing cookies, please refer to the help section of your browser.

  1. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. This includes retaining data for the duration of your course enrollment, as required by legal obligations, or until you request its deletion. Once the data is no longer needed, we will securely delete it.

  1. International Data Transfers

If your data is transferred outside of India, we ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and take appropriate safeguards to protect your information. This ensures that your rights are respected, even in the case of international data transfers.

  1. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal information.

  1. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, legal requirements, or platform improvements. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you through our platform or via email. Continued use of our services after such changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.

  1. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform, services, or this agreement shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration. By agreeing to this policy, you waive your right to file a lawsuit in court, except for claims that may be eligible for small claims court. Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator, in accordance with the rules of Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in force at the time of the dispute.

The venue for arbitration shall be at Kochi, Kerala, India, and the arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English. You and CPPR Academy agree to resolve any disputes in this manner, instead of pursuing legal action in court.

Furthermore, by agreeing to this arbitration provision, you waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or any other representative action. You also waive any right to a jury trial regarding any claims arising out of your use of the platform.

  1. Amendments to the Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated version will be effective as of the date it is made available. It is your responsibility to regularly review these Terms to stay informed about any modifications. Continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

  1. Force Majeure

CPPR Academy shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, pandemics, network failures, or any other event that makes it impossible or impractical for us to perform our obligations. In the event of such a circumstance, our performance will be excused for the duration of the force majeure event.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CPPR Academy, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and third-party service providers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, services, or violation of these Terms and Conditions. This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your use of the services.

  1. Miscellaneous Provisions

  1. Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalidity of any clause does not affect the validity of any other clause.

  1. Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, along with any policies or guidelines incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and CPPR Academy. They supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations regarding the use of the platform and services.

Waivers: Any waiver of rights under these Terms and Conditions must be made in writing and explicitly state the intent to waive a specific right or provision. A waiver of any breach or failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be construed as a waiver of any other breach or future enforcement of the provision.
